Diogo Nuno Freitas completed a PhD in Informatics Engineering from the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Engineering of the University of Madeira, where he also earned a Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics and Applications and a Degree in Computer Engineering. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Madeira and a researcher at the Madeira N-LINCS. His research interests include artificial neural networks and stochastic optimization algorithms.
